1. 📱 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the PlantIdentifier mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these

Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. 📖 Description of Service
PlantIdentifier provides AI-powered plant and tree identification services. The App allows users to:
- Photograph and identify plants and trees using AI technology.
- Build a personal collection of identified species.
- Earn XP and achievements through gamified exploration.
- Access detailed plant information including native regions and rarity.
3. ✅ Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized activity.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the App.
- Submit offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content.
- Use the App to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's services.
4. 🤖 AI Accuracy Disclaimer
PlantIdentifier uses AI for plant identification, which may not always be accurate. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated identifications are for informational purposes only.
- We are not responsible for decisions made based on plant identification results.
- Do not use the App to determine whether a plant is safe to eat or touch. Always
consult a professional botanist or expert.
- Results may vary depending on image quality, lighting, and plant species.
5. 💳 Subscriptions & Purchases
PlantIdentifier may offer premium features through subscriptions or in-app purchases:
- All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID Settings.
- Refunds are handled according to Apple's refund policy.
6. 🏆 User Content & Collections
Any plant collections, notes, or data you create within the App belong to you. However, by using the App:
- You grant us a limited license to process your submissions to provide the service.
- We do not claim ownership of your personal plant collection data.
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.
7. 🛡️ Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including the name "PlantIdentifier," logos, UI design, graphics, and software —
is
owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or
reverse-engineer any part of the App without prior written permission.
8. ⚠️ Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlantIdentifier shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental,
special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use or inability to use the App, including
but not limited to:
- Incorrect plant identification.
- Data loss or corruption.
- Service interruptions or technical issues.
9. 🔄 Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the
updated Terms in the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your
acceptance of the new Terms.
